It is the Royal AirForce therefore the UK, and Chief Air Marshall Sir Christopher Moran, for whom I can find no source of information, obviously fought in a Spitfire in WW2 or in WW1, did he not? He can be found on the internet but I have no mention of him in my library of books, so perhaps an unsung hero. All I can find on the DVD is the resemblant DVP, who perhaps changed their name to or reemerged as The DVD later on in WW2, or else the two are unconnected. In my Chambers Dictionary of World History, p.267, it says this about the DVP:-

DVP (Deutsche Volkspartei, 'German People's Party)
German political party. Founded in Dec 1918, the DVP represented the interests of right-wing liberalism and heavy industry in the WEIMAR REPUBLIC. Unfortunately it was seen as cryptic - I therefore provided detailed explanation which for some extraordinary reason was obfuscated by subsequent posters.

Seems I was not that wrong after all - a conspiracy theory developed from the death of the 2i/c of the RAF.

I simply assumed you were from something I remember you saying in another thread about Why UKIP Want to Ban the Burquas. I have read somewhere on the same thread that you have had some form of contact with MPs from UKIP, as you mentioned one of them doing time after having been exposed for duplicity of some kind by your good self, if memory serves me correctly. If I can find it, I will let you know where I mean.

yes I did take your comments as 'barbed' - I am happy to be corrected.

1. I have never been a member of UKIP
2. I know many members of UKIP
3. I find their present leadership corrupt, self serving and repugnant.
4. Yes I tracked proof of corruption on the part of Tom Wise UKIP MEP and Lindsay Jenkins with friends in the media pursued the issue providing written evidence, copy documents and extensive detail to the police and other authorities that led to Tom Wise & Lindsay Jenkins being charged having committed fraud and money laundering and in Tom Wise's case having embezelled the money.
The case against Lindsay Jenkins was eventually dropped when Tom Wise changed his plea to guilty and Tom Wise was sentenced in Nov-2009 to 2 years in prison however due to the idiotic state of British prisons after 13 unlucky years of Labour incompetence there are insufficient places and he was released on full MEP pension in May his release being completed in July!!
5. This is not UKIP Leadership specific I will tenaciously pursue any public servant who abuses his position if I can amass sufficient proof as I did with Tom Wise.
6. I am very much a supporter of UKIP and its principled members but I utterly repudiate its leadership and parasites.
7. My attitude to the burqa is utter indifference - That UKIP's leadership seek to victimise a sector of the population for a belief that harms no one I find to be an obscenity.

It is quite amusing, actually, what you have just said, but I daresay your humour did for some (including even me) need no small measure of clarification. What party are you actually affiliated with/a supporter of, if not-as you term them-EUKIP? Your own?
Are you/were you an MP of some kind? You consistently come across to me (and I'm sure some others like me) as both someone with a cause, a mission if you prefer, of some kind he is trying to get across, be that anti-UKIP protestation or a wish to advert. some manifesto of your own; and as someone who possibly belongs to as leader or MP, or otherwise wishes to start, some sort of political party. I have taken a look at your Leave-the-EU page, and I quite like its layout and presentation. It reminds me a bit of a certain glorified FaceBook page; no doubt you host one yourself. When I have more time and space I will peruse its contents more thoroughly. I am, however, still curious to know whether this is an actual, active, functioning political Party you are part of, or whether you are hoping to become one. Funnily enough, I actually approached this particular thread with trepidation from the outset not wanting to expose myself as an apparent suspect of idiocy, when I saw what I regarded as a suspicicious-looking invitation to what could have amounted to a chimps' tea-party. But I later dismissed this as too obvious and was under the assumption that in relation to WW2 you must be using an acronym, similar in kind to FUSAG (First United States Army Group) or something in that context. I did however under the original impression of this being an invitation to declare myself as just that-an idiot (IDIOT)-decide to enter into the arena in cognito of carrying such an awareness with me, because I sometimes love a good yarn.
