| Foreign Talent in Singapore Hello! I just read the latest issue of the Time Magazine and it talked about Singapore's new quest to get in highly skilled foreign talent. The foreign talent issue has been ruffling a few hairs with the local people as they see them as "aliens who are after their jobs". However, the govt. views this people essential for the growth of the economy in Singapore, and to provide more job opportunities in the future. I'm quite ambivalent to this issue as I've no qualms with regards to where my skills and abilities are, and how I can survive with these abilities and skills. But any of you face problems with the influx of foreign talent into your countries? Do you think it is a good thing?      |
