Banks to join crackdown on internet porn peddlers

Britain's High Street banks are expected to join a worldwide effort to combat child pornography on the internet.
It follows a long-running campaign by The Mail on Sunday to highlight the vile trade and expose the firms that underpin it.
Some of the world's biggest banks have formed a coalition to try to stop paedophiles buying sick images of children - by cutting off their access to finance.
The group is urging leading banks to make it impossible for customers to use debit and credit cards to pay for pornographic images and wants them to ensure they do not provide start-up capital for illicit websites. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/pages/liv...n_page_id=1770
