The Britons and the Muslim sensibilities

Since my childhood, I am seeing that something provocative and offensive to Muslims is done time-to-time from one quarter or other of the world. The Muslims respond in a jerky manners and then they are termed fanatic and orthodox. The Britons, once ruler of most of the world are expected to understand Muslims sensibilities in a better way as they are highly cultured and producer of great Sciences, Philosophies and Literature. But views expressed in this Forum show that Britons have failed themselves.
Every person has reverence for something considered holy and abhors something considered unholy. If anyone associates his holy things with things considered unholy by him then his sentiments get hurt. Therefore the civilized people shun from doing so.
Most of the people who are themselves liable to be hurt fail to understand others feelings and indulge in all provocations and when that person gets offended and behave erratically then they consider themselves more advanced whereas they are not so.
Suppose there are three objects- a teddy bear, a bitch and a commode or latrine seat. Now if three holy things- name of Holy Jesus, name of Holy Mary and Holy Cross be associated respectively with those things then? This example itself is very abhorring but unfortunately it has been given for those who consider themselves more advanced whereas they are not so. Thus though Muslims behave in a jerky manner when offended they are really hurt. The Muslims revere all Prophets and Scriptures and never offend anyone’s religion.
Now it is unfortunate that somebody do anything unintentionally and innocently and it turn out to be offensive to Muslims and that person has to face violent Muslim reaction. But most of the time it is deliberate.
