Every religion, ideology and philosophy has multiple versions-different in different places and times. Even any two contemporary persons don’t have identical conceptions and practices. The same person has different set of beliefs and practices in different phases of his life. Despite this, people want to enforce their current beliefs and practices over others. This is the cause of religious and sectarian conflicts.
There is a true and eternal version of Islam. It is Faith in God and to do Good. This True version of Islam was expounded and followed by Holy descendents of Holy Prophet. The periods of Holy Moses , Holy Jesus and holy Mohammad were different. The people of later generations can not conduct activities of that period indefinitely. The Muslims should not have attacked other countries after death of Holy Prophet. They should have lived a good life under religion expounded by Holy descendents of Holy Prophet.
The majority of Muslims have been deviated from this True Path and induced to believe that Islam is just outward practice of Beard for men and Purdah for women. There is no command to grow beard in Quran and there is command for both men and women to hide their contours. In early phase of Islam when Muslim women were used to be teased by other people then they were advised to draw veil on their face.
I don’t know about Arab Muslims, but I know that non-Arab Muslims don’t study Quran understanding its literal meaning. And to understand underlying true meaning needs repeated study and contemplation. You interview 100 Muslims in any non-Arab Muslim country and you will hardly find a Muslim who has read Quran understanding its literal meaning. The True Spirit of Islam is beyond their intelligence.
From early times, the rulers indulged in pursuit of Power, Money and Pleasures and kept masses under belief that Islam is just a religion of Beard, Purdah, Polygamy and Divorces. This is continuing to this date. The incorrect presentation of Islam and misdeeds of Muslims made people averse to Islam and induced people to denigrate Holy Prophet and Holy Quran.
The Muslims believed that God is on their side and they will spread Islam to whole world by conquest. They won many countries and spread Islam. The early Muslims developed human knowledge-Astronomy, Algebra and Alchemy. Much Philosophy was developed. All this was when Europe was under dark ages. Then Muslims got defeated and they regressed intellectually.
Now present day Muslims are behaving like a delinquent adolescent, unable to articulate except by violent reactions. They have not matured. They just follow what is told to them by clergy.
The Muslims may assert for modern rights in a non-Muslim State but they fail to oppose evil deeds of Muslim autocrat. Thus in 50 years after death of Holy Prophet, his Holy grand son was massacred, Kaaba was hit by missiles and Madina was plundered by Yazid-usurper of Caliphate and his unholy army. The majority of Muslims remained loyal to Yazid and still they are loyal to all the Caliphs however evil they have done.
Now in modern times, Muslim Terrorists are killing innocent people, thus committing Sin in name of Islam. The Muslims are advised to follow True version of Islam expounded and followed by Holy descendents of Holy Prophet.
