Basically scientists have sequenced the entire Neanderthal genome and have concluded that 1 to 4% of non-Africans have some Neanderthal DNA. Interesting article and not very long.

Interesting. I'd long been suspicious of claims that Homo Sapiens "couldn't" have bred with Homo Neanderthalensis as there'd never been any specific reasons given why they couldn't, and as the article says, they co-existed in parts of Europe and Asia for several tens of thousands of years, so I'm pretty sure that a certain amount of err, cross species experimentation, must have gone on![]()
