Taxi drivers plan to block off City Hall on Monday morning in an attempt to force a meeting with Bradford Council's chief executive.
Up to 200 vehicles and as many as 400 drivers could be involved in the strike action, surrounding Centenary Square, following a controversial ruling at the city's Crown Court yesterday.
The cabs will be in the area of Channing Way, Norfolk Gardens and Bridge Street from 8am.
Chairman of the Bradford Hackney Carriage Drivers Association C D Khalid said: "We have been contacted by the Council and we have arranged a meeting with the assistant chief executive for the afternoon, but we want to meet the chief executive in the morning.
"We are planning on being outside the City Hall entrance at 8am so we can meet the chief executive.
"I want people to know we will be there so that they can make other arrangements when they are travelling into the city."

The planned action follows the chaos caused last night as main roads in to and out of Bradford city centre were paralysed by striking taxi drivers.
The drivers were calling for the immediate dismissal of the head of the Council's Hackney Carriage unit, Paul Mills, as well as the meeting with the chief executive.
The unrest follows a ruling made by Judge Jonathan Durham Hall, who has allowed Bharjis Qayum a disabled taxi licence.
For years, Bradford Council has restricted the number of private hire plates, but new rules say the Council must produce an up-to-date survey proving there is no unmet demand if it wants to regulate the number of taxis.
Mr Khalid said: "We want to speak to the chief executive to enable us to look after our livelihood."
Picture from the cab strike yesterday taking over 2 of 3 lanes on a road. How the hell do they get away with it, why did the police not do anything to prevent this?
