| Making Taxis Safer Hello, I am the founder of the “The Hail Safer Campaign”. We campaign to make taxis safer and we would like your support and feedback. I was once attacked by a licenced taxi driver when I was a student at Nottingham University and I want to prevent it happening to others. Since 2005 I have been researching this industry discovering why such a crime happened too me and how can I prevent further victims without effecting those drivers that do a great honest job. We have been in touch with our local MP who has written to the secretary of state and too Lords that may have an interest in what we do. Can anyone on here suggest how we may move forward from this and how long a reply may take from the Secretary of State? We have a website at Hail Safer Campaign - We campaign for a fare ride in Taxi Safety and if you click on the link "get involved" it has an option to fill in a questionnaire. We are urging everyone to give this a go as currently there are no statistics on this issue and we need them in order to push for political change. Also if you would like to support us please sign our petition. If anyone would to like to email me confidentially then please do at info@hailsafer.co.uk. Hailsafer x |
