| More migration 'may hit poor areas' Uncontrolled migration would risk damaging some of Britain's poorest communities and put pressure on schools and housing, immigration minister Liam Byrne has warned. While increased migration as a result of globalisation has made Britain richer, it has also "deeply unsettled the country", he wrote in a pamphlet due for publication later this month.
