    Hello there

To start off, Loth is pronounced as moth, but with an L.

I'm a male 16 year old student living in the North East of England, and I've always been interested in politics and such. Having recently started to watch PMQs whenever I can, I've been looking for a group of people to discuss political ideas with, as my peers are somewhat lacking in interest. :P

I really just want to talk about things and events with people who will actually listen and try to engage in intelligent debate. Most of all, I want to broaden my horizons, as I'm sure there's a great deal I don't know about the political scene at the moment.

It's a pleasure meeting you all, in advance.

    Loth

Hi Loth and welcome to the Politics Forum! Pronunciation noted

Before anything else can I make a couple of quick points about posting in the forum. If you haven't read the rules yet, please do; you can find them here. Knowing what’s appropriate and what isn’t can save everyone a great deal of hassle! You might also find the Guide to Good Posting useful. Also please respect other people’s views; they mightn’t be the same as yours but that doesn’t necessarily mean they’re wrong, just different.

If you need help with anything at all, feel free to contact me, or one of the other moderators, via a personal message; details can be found here.

    Enjoy

Thanks for the welcome, I've already found a couple of threads in the Philosophy section that have made me sit back with my cup of tea and think for a while. :P

    Hello and welcome!
I thought it was suitable that you were welcomed by an average forum-goer rather than loads of mega moderators at level 20 and above.
So anyway, I hope I meet you in a few discussions in order to know where you stand on things and, once again, welcome to the forum.
