    Another late introduction

Hi, I'm new here, please forgive my oversight.

Although politics interests me, unfortunately I dislike party politics and most modern politicians & their parties. So many of them seem pragmatists or career politicians with no acceptable principles and no moral purpose to their service to the nation.

I also dislike most of the popular press which is run by people whose underlying agenda runs in opposition to what I believe is right for a just society.

I admire the politicians and political reformers of the early to mid part of the last century and admire those working class activists that brought about a real democracy in this country in that period.

Unfortunately their likes are no longer represented in the governments of today and the working class representation has suffered as a consequence of that.

So many aspects of modern society seem unjust and unfair for those who are not rich enough to fight their corner and the political correctness that has taken the moral high ground, so often works against good and honest working people.

So that's the way I see it!

The good and honest working people are in the minority of the social underclass we have. They live off the rich who pay huge amounts of income tax to support the many lazy fools living on benefits. Meh, I wish we were back in Victorian times where the attitude was it was frowned upon to receive benefit from the government.
