Hi Guys,
I'm a 4'th generation White African recently arrived in the UK and received an excellent welcome. Now Anglicised and sworn alegiance to the Queen. Opened a business and bought a house (or the bank did - I own the door mat)
Previously farmed in Zimbabwe for 30 years until booted by Mugabe and my wife's cousin murdered.
I am conservative with very strong anti-African bias but not worried about the rest - does that make me a racist? - if so I'm happy with it.![]()
Hi Afrivision, and welcome to the Politics Forum!
Before anything else can I make a couple of quick points about posting in the forum. If you haven't read the rules yet, please do; you can find them here. Knowing what’s appropriate and what isn’t can save everyone a great deal of hassle! You might also find the Guide to Good Posting useful. Also please respect other people’s views; they mightn’t be the same as yours but that doesn’t necessarily mean they’re wrong, just different.
If you need help with anything at all, feel free to contact me, or one of the other moderators, via a personal message; details can be found here.
As a matter of interest, my son's girlfriend's family used to farm in Zimbabwe for many years, but fortunately for them they managed to sell up whilst they still could, then resettled to Australia. Very sorry to hear about your own situation there, but as for having a strong anti-African bias making you a racist, I suspect not; your views are probably based far more on realism! If you haven't seen them already, there've been a number of discussions here concerning the Sub-Saharan African nations and the capabilities of their people.
