A year ago i was spiralling at an alarming rate into the abyss of disability. Walking ended, as did changing light bulbs and much sense of feeling.
There is more, like needing to crawl to get to my car. MS is tough. But a newspaper published an article on LDN and I heard about it, then researched it (lucky i am a scientist by profession) and bet my life on it. I'm still winning so I want to change the system so that out of patent drugs get the attention they deserve when they start showing promising new uses.
The system at present means that money decides what drugs we get offered. So our health care depends on profits, and that means the most profitable option is to keep people sick. I'm being a bit OTT there, but I might not be judging by the response we encounter on some 'oficial' health web forums.
