Hi Ian and welcome to politicspoliticalforum.com!
If you haven't already done so, please acquaint yourself with the rules, you may also find this Guide to Good Posting and short guide helpful. If you ever need any help please feel free to contact myself or one of the other mods via private message.
If you're feeling brave, once you get to know us all, you could divuldge some more personal information here and perhaps join the rogues gallery. In the meantime could you tell us a little more about your beliefs and which (if any) side of the political divide you sit?
We try and keep this a relaxed and friendly place to debate, please try and bear in mind that though your views may be different from another member it doesn't necessarily mean that theirs are wrong.
Look forward to debating with you soon.
    Ops.

Welcome! You are just down the road from me. I had an office in Aylesbury for many years. I hope any arguments we might have are friendly and that neither of us lose our cool

Having been out of touch for the last week or so, I'll add my rather belated welcome to the forum Ian. I see Op has done the formal bit, so all I can say is that I'm sure we'll cross swords in a few discussions, in particular if you're politically to the left and if you believe there's such a thing as a god!!

    Cool

Just to let you know I have a signature now which is quite wordy?
At a time when we're having to take such difficult decisions about how to cut back without damaging the things that matter the most, we should strain every sinew to cut error, waste and fraud.

You will feel the full force of the law and if you are old enough to commit these crimes you are old enough to face the punishments. And to these people I would say this: you are not only wrecking the lives of others, you are potentially wrecking your own life too.

    Re: Hi from Aylesbury (England)

Just a quick update for people. Haven't moved from Aylesbury, however I no longer believe in God, the church is no longer for the people, especially aound here, always after your money.

In politics I voted for the Liberal Democrats, whereupon they became the poodles of Cameron, (WE WAS ROBBED!). Looking for an alternative Party, but even they have proved to be scum.

Afternoon, glad to meet you. Shame your cricket team isn't up to much at the moment.
Sigh no more ladies, sigh no more.
    We men were deceivers ever.
One foot in the sea and one on the shore,
    to one thing constant never.
So sigh not so, but let us go,
    and be blithe and bonny.
Converting all your sighs of woe,
    To hey nonny nonny.
