    Basic Principles by Punk

    Hello.

Am new to this forum, so apologies, I don't know how is on here, views expressed, parties or groups out there.

I am a simple bloke, consider myself a normal run of the mill Scot.

I am completely at odds however with the drival that is presented by the political parties, hence why I'm here.

My main concerns, views are as follows and I'd like anyone here that agrees to let me know and if possible point me in the direction of any similarly minded people. If you don't agree wi em, so what, isn't that the point of a democracy?

    1)

Law and order. Political correctness has gone to far. We have a weak and pathetic police and criminal justice system.
I want a return to back to basics policing, protection of people and their property. An end to anti-social behaviour and a real crackdown on crime.

    2)

Benefits system. Get people off their ass and working. Why pay people to sit and drink/take drugs, produce vermin.
    This can be stopped overnight.

    3)

Immigration. Get a proper system in place ala States, Australia etc. Why employ thousands of Poles on minimum wage whilst we pay people to sit on their ass and do nothing. There has to be a balance. get people working, admit those into the country that will benefit the state with skills or investment and that are prepared to be part of this country and swear alligence to it. You can't do that or don't want to do that, then simple, don't come here.

    4)

Scotland and its culture. An end to positive discrimination and minorities telling us how to live, think and behave in our own country. A promotion of Scottish culture, tradition and values.

I want to live in a safe, healthy Scotland, where taxes are wisely spent and rates are down, people have a better standard of living, where the lazy and those newly arrived on these shores don't prioritise over those who work here and have have contributed to this country. A country for the ordinary working Scot, where you can be proud to be a Scot and of our history.

I appreciate that liberal PC thinkers may consider me satan for what I believe are basic rights of the ordinary working man in his native land, but I'm entitled to my opinion. If you don't agree, you don't. As I said, isnt that democracy?
If you do, let me know and if know of like minded, please put me in touch.
We need to build a future for this country before it is totally erroded.
    Thank you

Hi Punk and a warm welcome to politicspoliticalforum.com!
I have moved your first post into the introduction section so we can formally welcome you.
If you haven't already done so, please acquaint yourself with the rules, you may also find this Guide to Good Posting and short guide helpful. If you ever need any help please feel free to contact myself or one of the other mods via private message.
If you're feeling brave and want to tell us more about yourself, or if you're a bit nosey, you could visit here and perhaps join the rogues gallery. We try and keep this a relaxed and friendly place to debate, please try and bear in mind that though your views may be different from another member it doesn't necessarily mean that theirs are wrong.
It would appear from your first post that you sit somewhere on the right and you will find many on the forum who will be agreement with you over most of the issues you have listed.
I personally am one of these "Liberal PC thinkers" you mention (or socialist as I prefer to be known), but I am sure you are not Satan (he doesn't have a scottish accent for a start!)
Look forward to debating with you soon.
    Ops.
