Hi. I just wanted to introduce myself to be polite. Looks like a great forum and I look forward to meeting some new friends.

    Hi honestengland!
I have the task of pointing you in the direction of the rules if you have not already had a look! The best thing to do is probably find a thread which interests you and jump right into the debate.
The only thing to really remember is that we like to keep this a friendly place, try to respect differences in opinion as much as possible and you should have no problems. Should you need any help please do not hesitate to contact either myself or a fellow moderator!

Would you like to tell us a bit about yourself? What political views do you hold?

Don't contact Dougie if you have a question. I asked him about the location of the drinks cabinet and ended up in a cupboard full of cleaning fluid.

Advice from one who knows - draino makes for one nasty cocktail, but some interesting hallucinations

Don't add washing up liquid to beer either either... guaranteed to make you throw up, although it seemed sensible at the time :S

OK, I freely admit to it being way (moderators' privilege), but when I was at uni I recall being part of a somewhat intoxicated group who added a large quantity of commercial washing up liquid, plus a blue dye, to a large multi-jet ornamental fountain that was in Birmingham city centre at the time. The huge volume of quivering blue foam that it generated was a marvel to behold! I really don't know why the local authority got so upset, it cleaned their fountain out beautifully

Haha, sounds fun! We did a similar thing for our last day at 6th form. Our school had several fountains that we just couldn't resist filling with foam. It was so funny watching the caretakers try and get rid of all the foam with brushes and spades!

When I was at uni four of us all drunk a bottle of bleach each for a bet. We won the bet but are all dead now
