    Hello

I've been lurking here for a bit and decided I should say hello. I'm called Crawler not because I'm slow but I always end up walking behind other people. I work in the financial services business (low down!), I'm single and my political views are more to the right than anything, so I hope to have some interesting discussions here.

I'll add my own welcome to the forum to that Crawler. Good to see another right winger here, but be prepared for some battles with the lefties!
"Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised 'for the good of its victims' may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us 'for our own good' will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience." -- C.S. Lewis

In your world they might be but not in mine which is the world of real hard working people who dont want to be told what they should do by a government who seems to know nothing about anything.

Yes that's the same world - the one where real hard working people were robbed of assets that rightfully belonged to them, who are about to be governed by someone so posh he doesn't have to think before selecting the right knife.

You old (figure of speech) socialist you!

Are they the same assets + added value that the hard worker was paid for his labour at a contracted and agreed rate and thus has no ownership over any more?

The real hardworking people of this society have always swayed toward the leftfor social equality and the correct spread of wealth. The left isnt all about the over governing power of New labour i couldnt agree more with the idae that New Labour have taken it into there own hands to govern every aspect of our lifes, But with teh right the real hard working wouldnt stand a chance, as they havnt in the past may i remind you of Thatcher!
