    Hiya

Hello everyone, I've been a member of the BFI Britmovie forum for a couple of years now and found your forum while I was looking for some more in depth discussion of politics and helpful people who can answer some questions.
A very good forum it is too, the only thing I'm not keen on is that there are some individuals who seem to get a kick out of insulting others, calling them w*nkers and such like. I don't think that's acceptable .

Can someone advise me how to show an avatar please?

Hi hhhhancock, or should we just call you Tony There is a time and a place for some expletives and it's usually pretty obvious from the context, although I personally don't think it necessary, but I'm in total agreement with you about the childish name-calling that occurs here from time to time, and it is something that we Moderators do try to stamp out, but you know what some children are like......

As far as an avatar is concerned, if you click on 'settings' at the top right of the screen you'll see the page where you can edit your entire personal profile. The link to your avatar is on the left, about halfway down, called logically enough, 'Edit avatar'. After you click on this you'll be presented with the available options, either don't have one, have a generic political party one or upload your own image from either the internet or your own PC. The maximum image size is 80 x 80 pixels or 19.5 KB (whichever is smaller). If you have any problems, just send me a PM.
