    Hi Jasino,

Welcome to the forum. I have no doubt that Opinionated or Midas the current MODs will welcome you more formally. As you will see from my self-title I too am a moderate Conservative, although I hope that we will find topics to disagree on as well as agree!

Welcome Jasino, it's good to have another Tory on the forum ~ can't stand those liberal minded do gooders myself, how about you?

You join us at a period of tumult. Some of a regular contributors have been prohibited from posting for a few weeks so the quantity of debate will without doubt suffer. It's only a short term thing so with all hope normal proceedings will resume shortly.

    Re: Hello from a Tory!

Hello, i'm fairly new here too. I'm a liberal (or in the liberal family i should clarify 'cause my views are on the extreme end of liberalism compared to the socialist lot who are currently masquerading as liberals atm) but I resent being called a do gooder! I'm a liberal because I think conservatives corral societies into behaving how they think they should. I respect conservatism's law and order and economic policies but conservative historical social policies are immensely anathema to me. Plus no true tory would have anything to do with the NHS so I despise you/them for not having the courage of your convictions.
Anyway, saying all that. Good luck.

Welcome to the both of you then! As Tete mentioned things are a little tumultuous right now, but we should definitely see some good debates in the future.

Twain actually said; "Golf is a good walk spoiled", but close enough as both are true.
I wonder why the things that should be so simple, so natural... like loving someone and letting them see into your heart... should require so much courage?

If you put your feet a bit further apart and altered your grip it might be less wilde, I didn't know that wild was gender variable! Unlike Oscar!
