Well you took your fine assed time about it Dewey! Great to have you aboard jump right in with both feet, the water's fine.
Ps: Trying the mayo recipe this weekend.

Actually that was a blatent lie.. on two counts.
First: there is nothing completely anything in this post.
Second: I am not the least bit indifferent.
I am in So-Cal though, San Diego, Ca. In Specific. I am a U.S. Citizen.
While I realise that this is not a "spouting forum" I feel I must say I am a bit miffed that this board denied me the use of a signature phrase..... So I am going to post it now anyway.
"There are two groups of people in this world... Those that divide the world into two groups and those that don't"
Nayh nayh nayh. (god I hope that means the same thing as it does in American English)
Having had some experience with UK posting boards in the past... I realize that due to the fact that my own pragmatic and flexible ideas mirror much of that of several of the U.S. founding fathers, the villiagers may whip out their torches and pitchforks to pillory me at any moment. One might remember that the founding fathers had their own disagreements with the subjects of the crown...
So, how did I find myself at this comunity of netizens?... Some fool invited me... so the consequences remain on his/her head. (names have been omitted to protect the guilty).
Good Day & Good Luck

I wonder why the things that should be so simple, so natural... like loving someone and letting them see into your heart... should require so much courage?
Nice to meet you Uncle. I have switched the signature on for for. Apologies, it was an oversight when I adjusted the usergoup recently.
Ahem! I did omit names... and I will pass for an expert on numerous occasions.
Olive oil is tricky (a lot have bitter undertones) you might want to start with canola.
I am in the middle of a kitchen remodel so I will be slow.
hello and welcome,
quick official business and then we can get on with the better stuff - you see I've linked to our official welcome above, please acquaint yourselves with the rules, maybe once you are comfortable in our company you'd like to tell us a bit more about yourself here and/or join the rogues gallery.
That's wierd - I shall pass that on to a technically minded mod (ie not me) asap.
Erm...nay, nay thrice nay - meaning no perhaps? Best I can come up with.Nayh nayh nayh. (god I hope that means the same thing as it does in American English)
Fair enough! We'll leave the pitchforks and torches at home, but you may find you get a fair bit of tutting, sarcastic retorts and shaking of heads!Having had some experience with UK posting boards in the past... I think everyone knows the culprit and if you are 'good people' like them you'll have no problems what-so-ever, unless I accidentally hit the wrong button (I swear that's what happened Don!)So, how did I find myself at this comunity of netizens?... A pleasure to meet you as well....
Since you have turned on the offending fuction I suppose I shall have to find somthing else to be cranky about!
I wonder why the things that should be so simple, so natural... like loving someone and letting them see into your heart... should require so much courage?
Actually, there are three types of people in the world, Uncle, those that can count, and those that cannot.
Jesus said in John 3:17, "For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved."
The technicality has been rectified as per the Mods Post.
"Nayh nayh nayh" is a childish taunt usually accompanied by sticking ones thumbs up to ones ears with fingers out spread and flaping them in rythm to the chant... another equivalent would be neener neener neener, both of which would be followed by a brief extension of ones tounge and perhaps crossed eye's.
Funny looking Mercedes symbol you got there... The extra stick is because you Brits like manuel transmissions (we call it a stick shift)?
"good People" well sir that depends on who you ask.
Sounds like my experience with trig and elementary fuctions.
Pardon me for asking sir... but I see you have Senior MP after your name, are you a member of Parliment? Or is that a posting board designation of some sort?
I shall step to the side ..when appropriate. I have www.jacksondesignandremodeling.com doing the finish work. I can weld a mean sawzall and various other weapons of mass destruction and shall be doing the demolishing work. As it is a a compleat remodel I am removing everything; walls down to studs, flooring and even the cieling... all gone. Our designer has come up with a lovely layout. They have already laid the slate flooring in the family room and patio so we are actually ahead of schedule.
Besides the excersize has made me feel pretty good!
Get ya now! We do nya nya nya nya nya (sing songy tone) just to out do you with two more syllables probably!
I realise it's a concept alien to you but that would be a symbol for Campaign For Nuclear Disarmament, but I realise you guys live to use up all the worlds resources so I'll forgive the confusion!Funny looking Mercedes symbol you got there... The extra stick is because you Brits like manuel transmissions (we call it a stick shift)?
That would be Ma'am and I take as I find!"good People" well sir that depends on who you ask.

Not quite.... as yours is the mother tounge we yanks got it from you... but made it more efficient with brevity!
Humm is that what that tatty old thing means these days? Back in the 60's I had one dangling from my pierced left ear. Then It simply ment "Peace".
Beg Pardon Ma'am But Ah am new to these here parts (kicks the dust and expectorates a wad of chaw to the side, then shifts the haystalk from left to right and back again) so You will pardon me for bending your gender? Much obliged!

Hello Insane Uncle, and welcome to the Politics Forum. Given that Opinionated has done the official welcome, I'll just add my own; and look forward to reading some of your posts.

By "one of yours" I assume that 'Lucy' meant one of 'us' as in Americans and always late to the party. I prefer to think that 'we', the editorial we, are fond of the Entrée Grande. We may diddle around but when we arrive we arrive in style. Occasionally accompanied by Marine laden C-130's and assorted ordnance.
I wonder why the things that should be so simple, so natural... like loving someone and letting them see into your heart... should require so much courage?
LOL! I see... I do prefer to make my entrances known, unless firepower is needed... In which case I prefer somwhat more subtle tecniques.

Dewey!
Hello darling and thanks for coming. Do try and tear yourself away from the undoubted charms of Don occasionally.
My dearest Unconcerned! I haven't seen (figuratively of course) Don but for the briefest of moments.
You have my undivided attention as always... with the caveat that I am demolishing a kitchen preperatory to it's total remodeling..
I am pleased to see that Avatar of yours once again... Altho it did make a brief appearance on Trixie McBimbo not too long ago.
(just not the same...sigh)
