Warning - Overpopulated Islands May "Capsize"

On 2 April, U.S. Representative Hank Johnson (D. GA), during committee questioning of Admiral Robert Willard, CINC PAC, regarding plans to station approximately 8,000 Marines, support elements and their families on Guam (25,000 total), stated that he is afraid the island will; "...tip over and, uh, and capsize."

Admirably, the Admiral (pun intended) did not laugh out loud and played the part of the 'straight man', saying "We don't anticipate that".

Some stuff you just can't make up

I wonder why the things that should be so simple, so natural... like loving someone and letting them see into your heart... should require so much courage?

OK, I know this is in Jokes & Humour, but is that Hank Johnson for real or what? He sounds and looks either drunk or stoned, or perhaps both. I sincerely hope that he doesn't represent the standard of the average US congressman!!

Yeah looking back he did look a bit drugged up, but the strong rumour around Parliament is that cocaine is pure, none of that mix with flour sh!t.

Sounds like a Nick Griffin idea.
So unproductive has conservatism been in producing a general conception of how a social order is maintained that its modern votaries, in trying to construct a theoretical foundation, invariably find themselves appealing almost exclusively to authors who regarded themselves as liberal. - F.A. Hayek
