one of the great drawbacks of the NHS is despite the promises of the Tories, Liberals and Labour that whoever won the election they would implement The Beveridge Plan based upon his Report.

When Labour gained power their first action was to break their promise and put the half witted champagne socialist Aneurin Bevan in as Health Minister and no doubt much influenced by his Communist wife he changed the entire ethos of The Beverridge Plan from being a National Health Service run by the medics for the people under NHS committee control to being some lame brained Socialist idiocy politicising the concept to end up with a political football acting as a sink for unemployed and largely unemployable Labour left wing winggers providing a National Welfare Service with consideration to buying votes through social engineering.

Consider the fact, as quoted by Baroness Gardiner in The House of Lords and as yet never challenged in Hansard that in the preceding year the NHS had spent £300 Million on tattoo removal and similar treatments.

What EXACTLY has the NHS got to do with fertility treatment? We live in an over populated country, in an over populated world where the population has grown by more than three times in the last 60 years on an exponential growth patern. Surely an NHS should be more readily involved in terminations of the unborn who are known to be defective to the extent of state dependency not those who merely have a fashionable desire to have more kids, have tattoos removed or Hymen repair to dupe would be husbands!
