Gordon speaks and the Labour party winces

Whenever I hear about Gordon Brown trying to 'connect' with the country, I find it as excruciating as an episode of Peep show.

First we had the grinning lunatic of Youtube, then Biscuitgate, and now in his infinate wisdom he has done an interview with lads mag GQ which for some unfathomable reason has been written up in the Guardian politics section:

In the same interview he said:

It is like he has a mission to make me cringe with embarrassment on his behalf. He states that he wants to do charity work when he leaves office. I can just imagine an awful lot of worth causes shuffling quietly as far away from him as possible.

I should have saved the remark, fleshed it out and offered it to the weekends...apparently a couple of the 'names' missed it and were named on the ghost
