Ed Balls and Ed Milliband have both condemned the Iraq war saying that it was wrong and led to a loss of trust in labour. Both these men are contenders for the leadership of the Party so what does this tell us?
"High taxes don't redistribute wealth; they redistribute taxpayers" -- Arthur Laffer
It tells us something we should already know, that politicians have no moral compass and will say whatever is popular at the time if convinient to do so; ergo when Labour was in power and Blair was popular most of them go "Hey yeah war, kick ass" but now they are out of power and need to garner some public support and the leaders who supported the war are also gone they can now safely say "No, war bad, wouldnt catch me condoning such a thing."
I wonder if either of them voted for the war or absteined? If either of them actively voted against it then I withdraw my above statements with regards to them.
Edit: So far my research shows that Miliband, Rt Hon David voted to go to war. Aha - neither of them were MPs at the time so they can get away with this I guess. Although apparently they were special advisers to the gov at the time and they both voted against an investigation into the Iraq war, so not that lilly white.
The richest man is not he who has the most but he who needs the least.
We know that they change with the prevailing wind.
What concerns me is the degree of nepotism within the party. The brothers Milliband I can accept, but when we look to Ed Balls and Yvette Cooper and Harriet Harman and that lunatic of a husband of hers we have to ask exactly what is going on there.
We, as voters are not stupid and if we look at the party leaders from the last election their entire lives were under scrutiny. We know that these are incredibly tough jobs and require the unstinting support of their families.
No matter how innocent it may be, something stinks to high heaven when the wife and the husband have different constituencies and at some point or other there will be either conflict or collusion. Even Hillary Clinton didn't run for senate until after her husband was out of office.
Ain't it curious that all the matters that Teflon B'Liar tried to hide are now slowly creeping into the open. What next... maybe a secret whistle blower into the alleged 'suicide' of Dr David Kelly....?
And what of our much esteemed Ex-PM Gordy McRuin?
"Ed Balls and Ed Milliband have both condemned the Iraq war saying that it was wrong and led to a loss of trust in labour. Both these men are contenders for the leadership of the Party so what does this tell us?"
Well, the point is - Did they vote for the UK's involvment in this war or not? It looks more and more like the legal advice the Sainted Teflon got was that it was possibly illegal. But he possibly ignored this...... all alleged of course.... So wehre is he now?
Why receiving his just rewards from the Uber-Mega-Big-Bucks-Rich, and the Uber-famous. (all alleged of course.... so don't go taking walks down lonely country lanes on your own...!!)
Anyway, whilst we are all being distracted by the shenanigans of the Labor Party leadership musical chairs fiasco.... lfie will continue on as the Tory Boys and Limp-Ducks get on with undoing all the bullsh*te left behind by Labor's Marxist-Leninist Muppet Factory.
There will be much howling down at Muchwailing-on-Sea as Labor tries to resurrect its self into a new improved, cleaner, brighter improved version of it's previous mess.![]()
