Brown said today, in his PMQ press conference, that all britons would benefit from a tax cut that is about to take place, which appears to be have been aided by the loss of the 10p band.

I can say, hand on heart, that I do not want to benefit from a tax cut that will make a poor family even poorer!

He was asked if the £10 million would be in place again next year to buffet their losses as prices continue to rise; he wouldn't answer the question (when does this idiot ever answer a straight question though?). But did say that the money was for this year, when they would struggle most.

I took that to mean that from 2009 low income families are on their own; he put £10 million aside to shut up dissenters on his own back benches as well as th GBP, once the furor has died down he couldn't care less......lovely man, isn't he?
