The Labour Party is now the party in trouble,I remember just before the
Summer Reecess,in fact it was the very fiest time Brown had faced Cameron
as Prime Minister.Cameron won this first round very easy,I put it down to end
of term myopia and I thought Brown would recover his mantle.That was until
Wednesday,Brown was not only soundly beaten by Cameron he was Tonked.
When in the old days it was Blair and Brown if one of them gave a poor or a
below par performance then the other one was there to smooth things over.
Brown does not have this luxury,his sidekick the black and white Alistair (eye
-brows ) Darling is a crappy performer,we all know how this has happened it's
because Brown still has his hand on the tiller at number 11.Brown after being
forced to wait for so long for the big gold seems loathe to yield any of his new
found power.That is his problem a much bigger one is Cameron and his ability
to make Brown look very stupid,ignorant,and foolish.
Seeing this sort of thing happen puts me in mind of a
story I once heard from a old Snooker promoter,years ago Alex Higgins was a
noted champion the peoples champion in fact.When all of a sudden a young
kid by the name of Steve Davis started showing up in his Anorak???,and he
was offering Alex some free practice time against a good young kid.Alex said
no so that was that,anyway about a year later Higgins was again doing the
money making personal knock arounds in big clubs and fitness centres.This
time though Davis had followed him and there was an open entry fee,which
Davis willingly paid.As the tournament unfolded it got to the final and Higgins
and Davis were the two finalists,Davis thrashed Higgins 17 nil.He went on to
do this another twice,Higgins manager says Alex never got over this beating
and every time he played Davis his bottle went.
This is what will happen to Gordon Brown unless he can
win one of these exchanges pretty soon,I have seen hin well beaten in the
two up to now Brown had better pull his socks up,and find his speaking comp
-ass as opposed to his famous moral one pretty darn quick.Otherwise Labour
will be looking for a new leader,one who can handle David Cameron.
