I know many will disagree with me when I say this, and for good reason, they are not in the stablest of regions with the most sane leader but what right does the US, UK or any other W MD owning country have to tell any other country that they can not or should not have nuclear weapons when we own them ourselves?

The frankly disgusting double standards is accentuated when we ourselves have recently decided to spend around £25billion on renewing trident!

And knowing the way the US is aggressively operating, as always, (they are the biggest terrorists in the world in my opinion) don't Iran have a legitimate reason to have a nuclear deterrent?

If we want to avoid war and bloodshed wouldn't it be better to cease the hard line, macho rhetoric (French comments are a recent example) and show the real balls by being the first to disarm and stopping the renewal of trident?
