Hello - for those of us interested in the causes of the global financial crisis, and what can be done to fix it, I thought this might be of interest - especially if you live within reach of Bristol.

Professor Prabhu Guptara, an expert working for one of the world's biggest banks, will present "The world financial system and the institutionalisation of greed" at 6pm on Thursday October 9th at Saint Stephens Church, Saint Stephens Avenue, Bristol, BS1 1EG. It's £5 on the door, and a drinks reception is included - always a good chance to share your views.

It looks set to be a lively event, and Professor Guptara's insight could prove very valuable to us, as well as challenging.
