Considering the local councils obsession with the environment, I can't see that even storing the waste in the correct coloured box will help it be very 'eco'; and it certainly won't be recyclable. I also think the drums of waste would need more than the current 'two finger' rule to lift and move.
Bearing all this in mind I doubt the councils would even know what to do with the waste, no matter how much Brown tries to bribe them to take it.
Additionally, where would they even put it? Most towns, villages and cities are fairly built up - so that leaves green belt, farming land, national parks or, closer to home, school fields, playgrounds, parks, brownfield sites.....not good, is it?
Perhaps we should just store with it with the other main UK toxic waste producer - dump it in no.10.
