    I love spitting image.
Its a real shame they dont make a new series now.
Come on, you can just imagine the puppets of Brown, Blears, Smith, Darling, Harman, Cameron...

    It would be hilarious!

Wasn't that cartoon programme supposed to be a new spitting image, I caught a couple of episodes which were quite good. But I can't remember what it was called.

    Op74, 2DTV?

That was the one that did a lot of Bush Blair stuff. George Michael got them to do a video for him "Shoot the Dog" I think it was called. Not that I'm an expert on George Michael, I just remember it.

Its a bit weird we don't have a runnng satire show like the Americans do with The Daily Show and Colbert Report, especially as our government is so ripe for piss taking right now.

The closest we have is Mock The Week.

There's Have I got News, which I much prefer to Mock the Week personally. We need to get John Colshaw and Rory Bremner back for more Dead Ringers - that was a great program.

Yeah I think HIGNFY has gone a bit stale, they could do with a permenent quizz master to bring it together, love Paul Merton still though. The first series of MTW was the best because I think Rory Bremner bought a level of gravitas that is since lacking, but I adore Russel Howard.
Yes LA has it headcases, bit too try-hard!
We do need our own John Stewart that's for sure and I can't understand why someone hasn't done it yet given it's relatively cheap tv. Perhaps we should pitch it; after all the execs at channel four are going to be bored sat on their arses for the next fifty weeks whilst Big Brother takes over (please let it be the last, ten is enough surely)?
