But of course you don't actually have to assault the prat, you could just tell him or her that they are an idiot. Faced with someone who pompously tells you that everyone could send their child to private school if they don't drink....what do you say as you offer them the glass of petit chablis?

I did my bit. Someone travelling too fast on the icy road brought their car to a halt on my drive as I was walking the dog. No reason why they should have been in my drive. They were informed that they were an idiot, trespassing and I was going to call thepolice about their driving.

I had a hangover and that is my excuse

In fairness, I have worked with some really excellent people, however they were the rare exception rather than the rule.
Also, in fairness, I sometimes wonder what they may have thought about me!
