What did John Barnes mean by "we may be going through these problems"?

Speaking to sky sports news Sky Sports | Football | League One | News | Barnes will fight on just before he was sacked by Tranmere Rovers, John Barnes was asked about black people being managers in the game, and said the above quote.
What did he mean? He was careful up until that point not to lay specific blame as to why there had only been 3 black managers in the game saying, "theres a disproportionate amount of ex black players that want to be managers".

Then, "we may be going through these problems", was he having a racist dig at owners (white people) of football clubs? What did he mean by "we", isn't he part of the multicultural members club? Is he black first?
Was he trying to suggest that because theres around 25% of players that are black, that 3 black managers out of 92 is disproportionately racist?
Did he get this from Brendon Batson, he said exactly this on sky sports news a few years ago, he said that there were 25% of players that were black, but only 2% of managers were, and incredibly accussed white football club owners of being racist.

So Mr racist Barnes/Batson, should there be more white players, because 98% of managers are white

In both interviews, sky never bothered to distance themselves from these black racist attitudes.

Would sky allow a white player not getting a game, to say the opposite??

They wouldn't allow it from a white manager/layer, because it wouldn't be true.
I know you are trying to stir up controversy and declare the establishment anti-white, but its true that there are barely any black managers. I don't think it had anything to do with his dismissal, but I can only think of Ince and the macclesfield manager.

No-ones denying that, but 98% of managers are white, but only 75% of players are white, so the player % is disproportionate, thus we need more white players.

Surely the proportion should be guided by the proportion of white/black males in the country?

Ok, 2.2% of the population in the 2001 census report were black, as theres 2 black managers currently in the game, no room for John Barnes or any other black person John Barnes and Brendon Batson wana disproportionately thrust into managerial positions by making white people feel guilty, and there needs to be a 23% reduction in black players too

To be fair, there needs to be 2 black owners of football clubs

I am just pointing out that there are few black managers- but you are claiming that there should be a deliberate reduction of Black players?

Racists john barnes and brendon batson think there should be a deliberate reduction in white managers.

The only reason that I would ever take this remotely seriously is because there are people like you out there who would hire white people over black people if you thought you wanted more white people, as if it mattered.

I don't care about the number of black players. I expect that they are better footballers than the white people who don't get into clubs. I can well imagine people like you hiring worse players because they are white, though. You'd be a ridiculously unsuccessful manager.

Have you stepped back and considered they might be right? What if owners DO hire white managers based on racism? I'm not saying its definitely the case, but you always dismiss any claims of anything off hand. Hell, if ten white people killed a black guy while shouting 'go home nigger' then I expect you'd stick up for them because you'd call the black guy a racist himself, or something like that.

Is that really part of your intolerantly fascist way you wanted to respond?

People, regardless of their race, colour, creed or religion, tend to find their own ways in life and move into jobs for which they have skills and training, or that they actually enjoy doing.
The whole idea of of measuring the proportions of particular sections of society in particular jobs, is, in itself, preposterous.

Remember that when people apply for any job, mostly they have to fill in a race and religion form, so that the people administering the selection process can then ignore it?
What on earth is all that about?

No. There should be equal opportunities so that the best players and managers get the jobs. So long as that's the case, I don't give two ****s about the percentages of each race.

Absolutely. If a significant minority of the best players are black and a significant majority of the best managers are white, so what.

Not entirely, but mostly. There may be institutional racism against black managers, but if that isn't the case then I'm not bothered about the number of black managers.

    I have a saying, i don't ... anyone who doesn't ... me.

I was never unpleasant to Mr Barnes before he started displaying his anti-white racism, thus he deserves all the unpleasantness his racist views gets.
