    Islam and the core problem

I do not see how moderates in Islam bring any solution to the world stage. If anything, THEY are the real core of what is wrong. Should the fanatics be contained, moderates would continue to cling to the teachings of this prophet and in the next generation would produce new fanatics. It is a continuing cycle. The crazy actions of these groups can be traced to moderate communities, who just keep clinging to this evil as if it will somehow produce good. They refuse to recognise that Islam was stillborn and never had anywhere to go.

On the other hand, should the fanatics prevail and there are no more infidels left. The continuing quest of the sword, to have a glorious entry into heaven, would see the attack turn on the moderates as the solution. Any small infraction, would be reason for attack. We see this now in Afghanistan where they turn on each other.

This would continue until, there are no more moderates left to kill. Then, to follow the prophet, they would form into one fanatic group against another fanatic group. Until mainstream muslims finally see the future of this belief, there can be no hope for themselves or anyone else.

It is the clinging to evil, of the mainstream muslims, that is the core problem.

IMO opinion the entire Religion is extremely primitive, and in that sense, pathetic. It's fair to say the average Muslim if far more devout than the average Christian, and clings to the words of the Prophet like a safety blanket, just as the West did 500 years ago. What is especially dangerous about Islam is two clauses in the Koran, one pertaining to the spread of Islam, including through violence, and another pertaining to the defence of Islam, if one Islamic nation is attacked, even for non-religious reasons, the whole religion is under attack. This makes it extremely difficult to deal with Islamic nations, as they mostly have a superiority complex, and feel that God is always right and always on their side. Without their oil, they'd be nothing, just as much a backwater as Africa, and with oil becoming less and less important, and the cost of interacting with the Middle East growing, we could see them abandoned by the civilized world this century.

I find this website: Rational Thinking explores Islam, Quran, and Muhammad
    very interesting.

Especially this page: Should we halt Muslim immigration?

Titled, "should we halt muslim immigration?"

I'll come back and quote some good paragraphs on it when I've had some sleep!

    Have a read though.

For reasons which they could not comprehend, and in pursuance of a decision by default, on which they were never consulted, they found themselves made strangers in their own country.

Religious groups should have no influence in the political decisions or direction of Nations. This simple thought would end many of todays problems,so why dont the religious leaders shout it from their highest rooftops (or cave).? It would not matter which dead person from the Middle East you care to Worship ,If the rest of us were allowed to ignore you.

Christianity seems to have moved into this kind of thinking with only occasional advisments coming fom Canterbury, though the Vatican still seems to have a firmer grip on its followers. The Looney Tunes that profess to direct the Islamic people however are a different story. They not only want to control there own supressed people but the rest of us as well. If people need to be close to thier God maybe they should move to the Middle East where the whole ridiculas thing started and leave the rest of mankind to evolve without religious hindrance.

All religions preach of a better place (heaven) after death. Hey guys! dont let me keep you and I hope you find what your lookng for

Agreed. If only that were possible. You see the problem is the islamic ideology itself based on the teachings of the prophet that make muslims often turn into violent, "infidel"-hating fanatics. Unless the Qu'ran is revised (something that will never happen) i don't see how we could ever have a peace-loving Islam.

i'm in no case a devout Christian myself or anything but, according to the teachings, if every Christian acted like Christ, I sincerely believe the world would be a better place. If every Muslim acted like Mohamed, according to modern law, they'd have to be jailed.

The core problem is the extreme verses in the Quran and how literately Muslims take this. I know there is violence in the bible but it is not studied and taken at face value by most Christians. I mean, how many Christians do you know who make their children learn the bible off by heart from the age of 10?
