I don't necesarily support the scientists mentioned in the Daily Mail report.
I don't trust them any more than the AGW CO2 carbon taxing lot.

I do like the idea that God is laughing at mankind over Copenhagen. It's probably true.

Their is a bigger problem with global cooling or a mini ice age The mini ice age is more likely to cause more deaths than global warming ever will. Keep your eyes open for the ever increasing death rates through the winter world wide.and make your own judgement then.

These models cannot be trusted to predict the weather for a week yet they are running them to give readings for a hundred years.

Quite, didn't the met office promise the summer of 2009 to be warm and dry.
Then they promised this winter to be mild.
Michael Fish and hurricanes comes to mind.

God laughs at us everyday. How else do you explain away flooding, disease, natual disasters, murder, all crime, swearing, Clarkson, bigotry, racism, ALL SIN? The bastard has a sick sense of humour, he must be laughing his metaphysical ass off.

I'm not explaining everything away. That's not my job.

The blogger, Marcel, has his own points of view. As this is the spiritual section of the forum, I think this is the place to discuss it. I think his blog has some merit, although his views are a bit over the top, even for a fundamentalist.

The Daily Mail article is interesting, if nothing else. Weather forecasters could tell us what type of summer or winter we were going to have, but some people want to trust the same branch of scientists over predicting world climate over the next 100 years.
Men are certainly arrogant, especially from a Christian's point of view.

The other night the BBC went to pains to show us that the world temperature map showed the Northern hemisphere very cold, but the Southern Hemisphere was warm, even hot. Well, wow! it's January.
I then received a report from a friend in New Zealand that he is having to use his electric blanket in January because it is so cold.
I know this is just one person's report, but it isn't THAT hot in Australasia just now.
The BBC are part of the government conspiracy to take our money in greeny taxes. Billions of our money.

The reason it’s so hard to predict the weather very far in advance is because weather is incredibly complex and dynamic. Factors like today’s temperature, humidity, prevailing winds, and local geography all have an influence on tomorrow’s weather. What happens tomorrow determines what will happen the next day, and so on. Even the tiniest unknown factor in today’s weather, say the humidity over a patch of forest, increases the uncertainty of making tomorrow’s forecast. The situation makes the forecasts for next week even less certain, and forecasting even further into the future becomes increasingly more challenging.
