WESTERN RANGER is on a distinguished road
Exclamation Microsoft Works Vs Microsoft Word (office)

When I first bought this P.C. about eighteen months ago,I noticed that the
Microsoft Works was installed instead of the Word (office) which I was used
to.Things at first were alright but now the shortcomings in this Works system
are only too aparent. The differing controls are bad enough but things like cell
merging are just about impossible. There could be a chance that I lost some
of the files through a virus from about a year ago, this though is very unlikely.
I was wondering if I could get rid of the Works altogether and buy the latest
Word instead, does any-body have a constructive opinion on this.I would be
happy to hear it.I know a I.T.instructor who got rid of the Works system as
soon as she bought her new computer, she advised me to do the same.I thoug
-ht this was a little bit drastic but now I'm not so sure.
