Angry William sees off a late-night traffic warden

Leaving your car on a double-yellow line while you party in a nightclub is normally an invitation to be clamped – but not if you're Prince William.
When a traffic warden pounced while William was inside the Embassy nightclub in Mayfair, Central London, in the early hours of yesterday, one of his royal protection officers was able to wave him away with her warrant card.

The traffic warden, part of a squad that patrols the streets of Westminster on mopeds late at night, had begun tapping the car's details into his ticket machine when the police officer strode up and flashed her badge.

CP, which runs Westminster Council's parking services, said unmarked police cars can park on double-yellow lines while on official business, and police sources indicated that royal protection officers are always on duty if their charges are in public.

A spokesman for the 24-year-old Prince said: 'We never discuss security issues.'

William arrived at the club at 12.30am with some Army pals, but not girlfriend Kate Middleton, and left at 3.30am.

One guest said: 'He started on the beers, then moved on to whisky and Cokes. Some Essex girls were trying to dance with him but he was more interested in getting rowdy with his Army mates on the dance floor.'

Looking after this clowns car is not official business, if he wants to goto town for clubbing he should get a lift or catch a bus, why should he and other people like him be allowed to do as they please and the rest be punished.

What a load of ********.
