The wife of a serving British soldier, Lance Corporal Andrew Crozier is to be deported and her children could be placed in care because this government has not given her leave to stay when her visa runs out. The 23 year-old Canadian fears her children will be placed in care if her husband is posted in Iraq or Afghanistan.

Mrs. Crozier has stated 'I think this is disgraceful, I came here to be with my husband and my two wonderful little boys. My husband is patriotic and prepared to fight for his country, but his country it seems, will not fight for him.'

Mrs. Crozier's Mother was a British Subject and her Grandfather and Great Grandfather both fought in the world wars.

Mrs. Crozier met her REME husband in Canada whilst he was posted there and they married in 2004, they then moved to Germany where their sons were born. Her application for British 'citizenship', (to become a British Subject), was rejected last October.
