UKIP gain Tory supporter

THE Tories' top donor last night blasted David Cameron and sensationally defected to the euro-sceptic UK Independence Party.

In a humiliating body blow, spread-betting millionaire Stuart Wheeler wrote a cheque for £100,000 to UKIP.

And he said he will be voting for them in the June Euro elections. He told the News of the World Brussels is a bigger threat to Britain than the economic crisis and he is fed up with leader Cameron's decision to ignore it.

He said: "The EU is doing so much damage to our economy and way of life that I can no longer vote Conservative at the European elections.

this donor is typical of how so-called supporters are when they cannot get their own way, in further articles he has said " he is still a tory at heart and always will be, he simply wants the party to make a stand about europe and be honest with the public",

he will be back with the tory's after the euro election, with even bigger handouts for them, they will never turn away the money with the prospect of a general election on the horizon

I wish the Conservative Party would take a more sceptical view of the EU.
Under Cameron it just isn't happening. Not like Maggies war on the EU.
