Former EUkip MEP Robert Kilroy-Silk is a guest on BBC 1 Question Time from 22:35 pm 05-Dec-2009.

Robert Kilroy-Silk was elected as a EUkip MEP in June 2004 having joined EUkip based upon promises made by Nigel Farage which were beyond his gift - Farage promised RKS that if he joined EUkip and was elected Farage would make him leader. This promise was NOT honoured by Farage & RKS quit the party at the end of that year.

RKS launched a new anti-EU party called Veritas in February 2005 but left shortly after, leaving the new party in some disarray from which it has never seemingly recovered.

RKS sat as an independent MEP until June of this year.

RKS was, prior to some foolish comments regarding race, a showman on TV - having lost his job he joined EUkip bringing to the party his questionable status as a 'celeb' also his experience as before his TV job he had been a Labour MP for two terms prior to 1986.

RKS was a relatively hard working MEP with many more written questions than the EUkip MEPs once he left EUkip.
