I know what you're thinking but, no, it's not one of them.

It's a British barrister!!!

Come on. Admit it! You knew it all along, didn't you?

Yes, the lady in the picture is the barrister, Elizabeth Joseph, who has no less than 25 years years experience at the bar!

The 5 December 2008 edition of The Daily Mail takes up the story:

Elizabeth Joseph, 56, screamed at police and went berserk after officers stopped and searched her battered Hyundai outside a railway station. The barrister continued ranting at police during the search and even tried to film the incident on her mobile phone.She screamed:

'What? Do you think I'm a terrorist' before sinking her teeth into PC Vincent Geaves' right hand as she was handcuffed, Snaresbrook Crown Court heard.

Joseph, based at Old Square chambers in Lincoln's Inn, central London, continued her bizarre behaviour after she was taken into custody by 'ranting, praying and singing loudly'.

At one point she took her clothes off in preparation for a 'strip search' and continued yelling at officers during her arrest. Now Joseph's professional reputation and 25 year career at the bar is in ruins after she was convicted of assaulting a police officer in the execution of his duty.

Joseph, of Leyton, east London, was also convicted of obstructing a constable...

The lawyer, who represented herself in a long running appeal and lost, was sentenced to carry out 60 hours' unpaid work and ordered to pay £8,750 court costs...

Joseph told the court there was no way she would be able to pay the £8,750 cost in 90 days. She said:

'I have got enough issues. My reputation is at stake. Clearly it's something that will be referred to the Bar Council... I have to pay the debts I already have in relation to my mortgage, to which I have to appear at the Bow County Court on the 8th of this month in respect of my mortgage arrears. You cannot sue a man of straw. Basically, I do not have the money. My practice has not been my priority since I became a Christian.'

Judge Beech was forced to warn Joseph about her 'court etiquette' as she muttered replies.

I wonder, if I showed this story to a fully paid up member of the PC Crowd, a Blairite or some random Red, do you think they might insist that barristers have always behaved like this?

Anyway, this is what a British barrister looks like nowadays and this is what it's liable to get up to if you don't keep it on a lead.

Er, sorry, I didn't mean a lead, I meant a tight rein. No! No, I didn't mean that either, I meant you should always let them do precisely what they want to do because barristers are all lovely, fluffy pink things that never once bit a Keystone Cop or got a council house as soon as it arrived!

Phew! I'm glad we got that straightened out. I wouldn't want anyone to think I'm a barristerist!

For the benefit of those who are not bought-and-paid-for members of the PC Crowd, here is a little history THEY have airbrushed out of the history books:

The term "racism" was first coined in English by Max Eastman. He was translating a word used by the Russian Revolutionary, Leon Trotsky, in his 1930 essay, The History of the Russian Revolution. Different translators have used the term to describe what was meant in other Trotsky articles. His 1933 essay, "What is National Socialism?", for example, also contains the word "racism", as it has been translated into English.

Though Lenin was the symbolic and actual leader of the Bolshevik revolution, Trotsky did more than any other to make it happen. He raised many millions of dollars from American businessmen, (Jacob Schiff would have been the foremost of these) without which there wouldn't have been a revolution, and, through the campaigns of terror he ordered as Head of the Red Army, all resistance was crushed and Bolshevik rule established.

Millions of innocent Russians lost their lives at this time. Hundreds of millions would subsequently lose their lives as a direct result of Marxist success in Russia.

Trotsky was a Russian Jew.

The American businessmen who funded his revolution were also Jewish.

The notorious homosexual "sexologist", Magnus Hirschfeld, the so-called "Einstein of Sex", (a transvestite himself, he coined the term "transvestism") titled his 1934 magnum opus, "Racism". This was translated into English and published posthumously in 1938 by Victor Gollancz.

Hirschfeld was a German Jew. Victor Gollancz was an English Jew.

The German politician Wilhelm Marr, is usually said to have coined the term, "anti-Semitisism" ("antisemitismus") in 1879, but the adjective "anti-Semitic" had been seen in print as early as 1860. The biographer, Moritz Steinschneider, used it in the phrase "antisemitischen vorurtheile" ("antisemitic prejudices").

Moritz, the son of Jacob Steinschneider, a Tamudic scholar and enthusiastic early Zionist, was an Austrian Jew.

I don't think Albion has ever been called a Marxist before, so bravo...that post does appear to contain at least one original thought.

Despite the historical context of the word 'racism' I think its pretty much accepted what it means nowadays. But what do I know? Me and my Third Generation ways...I do like that nickname though...makes me sound like an iphone
