Sounds a bit like Reclaim the Streets, but less fun.

"A voluntary 3 day week scheme.
Within 2 years, a temporary five year ban on production and importation of white goods , TVs, monitors etc.
Within 2 years, a temporary five year ban on sales, production and importation on any traditional powered combustion vehicles"
Sounds like a great way to make a lot of people out of work.
So unproductive has conservatism been in producing a general conception of how a social order is maintained that its modern votaries, in trying to construct a theoretical foundation, invariably find themselves appealing almost exclusively to authors who regarded themselves as liberal. - F.A. Hayek

Quite; another undoubtedly politically inspired idealistic, and futile, attempt to change human nature......
"Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised 'for the good of its victims' may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us 'for our own good' will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience." -- C.S. Lewis

Having done a "whois" search, I take it that you are the owner of this website and are seeking to promote it on this forum.
I was going to say some rather cutting things about the practicalities of the suggestions made.
I won't bother now, as you might take it personally.
I'll just say it resembles something the Monster Raving Loony party could have dreamt up.

If they stopped import of white goods and electrical items for 5 years, after about 3 we'd all have no appliances. Good luck even buying a kettle nowadays that'll last 5 years!

I know a good way to gain support for a political party or movement, cause a huge traffic jam. How could that not work?

An economically and socially damaging initiative which will, in the unlikely event that enough numptys participate, cause distress, inconvenience and resentment to the majority of the population. I am sure that the relatives of those who die because an ambulance or fire appliance can't get through will sympathise with the objectives of this piece of nonsense.
