We have four weeks until the election to make a difference in the UK. How do we do this? Follow the established rules and vote on May 6th for whoever you support or have a vested interest in. The rest of us either do not vote or vote according to the sound bite we liked the best or vote against the Government. Perhaps on a good day we can expect a 60% turnout, on a bad day below 50%. Hardly a democratic choice!
Who are we voting for ? The same career politicians in different clothing! Subject to the party line and unable to speak directly with truth! All three main parties are promising change. Can we believe them? History says not real change. Change yes along party lines and change as long as is needed to keep the flock at bay. With overall power comes as arrogant disregard for our opinions and wishes even though the politicians are our representatives.
How do we start to make our voice count? Many of us have never voted, too apathetic to make the trip to the polling booth. Perhaps we feel our vote is of no consequence. Perhaps we have lost all respect for the people we can vote for. Perhaps we feel far removed form the establishment. Perhaps we feel ignored. Perhaps we feel betrayed.
For whatever reason many of us do not accept our hard fought right to vote. Perhaps the time has come to realise our right not to vote and make our voice heard in a way that has never been displayed before. A mass no vote. The only way to make the established political process change its ways is to cause a break down. By not voting on mass the result of the May election will be undermined or the present politicians will have to take stock and make real change involving all of us.
So I say on May 6th register your No Vote by refusing to attend the polling booths and register your support for the No Vote Campaign for UK Political Revolution. Support Peopleism

Yes I agree the right to vote is so important. However in our present situation a right not to vote could be as important as a one off demonstration against the relentless misuse of power and probably more importantly the failure to respect the majority of citizens of our great country. The aim would be to register such a high no vote that the result would be seen as worthless. Who ever got in would not have a mandate to govern us. This in turn would frighten the politicians to act in the way they say they should now an election is upon us. If we maintain the status quo what will happen?. One of the parties will gain power and will inevitably, as we lose our interest again, carry on in the same sweet manner railroading us into decisions we don't want. How many times do our politicians and other european politicians relentlessly manipulate us to gain a result the hierarchy want. They know the majority of the population, certainly in the UK don't want the march towards federalism. Most of us do agree with close ties and an ecomonomic trading partnership but not federalism. And yet we are allowing a minority of politicians to manipulate us into just that. Just one of many examples. As so many of us don't vote and so many of us vote without a real say in the result it is likely this situation will continue. A one off protest such as the one we suggest might be the way to stop the rot and re ignite the peoples interest and influence. At the moment I would prefer the Queen to look after things for an interim period. At least we know she has our interests at heart and has proved her loyalty to us. How many of the present Government can claim this.
Our present situation is reflected by the increasingly common breakdown of the central nervous system. When it breaks down it is a continual break down gradually decreasing the effectiveness of the bodies nerves to handle the signals activating the body. A treatment is to force the central nervous system to close down all together and restart it a fresh. Not a cure but a revitalisation for a period of time. A shock to the system. Why can't we cause that shock to the political system.
Some comments made are fair but some are the typical over intellectualisation of politics which is one of the prime reasons why part of our country switch off and don't vote. Why not for once in our lives do the opposite to what is expected of us and support those who are disenchanted making for once their voices heard.
It is important that alongside the No Vote Campaign the after effects are considered and policies reflecting the electorate are taken up by the politicains who then take the Government forward. My advocate is Peopleism.
