Labour Fair ? Your having a laugh at our expense !

So, the latest "Fair" statement from Labour is " no income tax increases but we might increase vat" !
We all know that means WE WILL INCREASE VAT !
So it will be considered "Fair" to tax the low paid earning £10k a year at the same rate as those earning £100k a year for vat ? ( which will also impact fuel costs ! )

Consider this one, a low wage earner spending £20 per week on fuel to drive to and from work has seen a tax hike in the last 12 months of £10 a week due to the tax hikes in fuel, thats a tax on the low paid of £10 POUNDS A WEEK ! or £520 pounds a year, "FAIR" ? Yours having a laugh Alistair, who by the way shares the same notable fact with Gordon Brown in that they both don't have a driving licence and don't have a clue about the cost of running vehicles.
As a direct result of Labours high fuel cost policy we have seen the demise of the majority of our own haulage firms as foreign vehicles invade our country with much lower fuel costs.

Every Government makes the same mistake on indirect taxation but Labour has been the most regressive of any in living memory.

Gordon Brown tells us to look at his record, well I will :
He lost us £6 billion selling off our Gold reserves at the lowest price !
He gave Pensioners a 75p a week increase on Pensions while at the same time
increasing Council Tax above that ! Raided the Pension schemes with tax.
In the time that this Labour Government has been in power he has doubled :
Council Tax, Indirect Tax, on Fuel, Tobacco, Car Tax, Government waste, Government Debt, salaries of public servants etc, etc,etc.

There is only one fact you can count on with current Labour, they will find any possible way to invent NEW taxes and double or triple them if they can get away with it, all this when they are supposed to be put in place to implement the will of the people whilst completely ignoring our protests ( fuel,Council tax protests ) and doing the complete opposite !

They even dream up taxes to apply AFTER you have died ! That says it all !

Not only would I expect Labour to get NO votes in the election I would expect even the Monster Raving Looney party to get more votes than they do.

Its high time ALL parties talked about cutting the waste we read about every day in our newspapers, got rid of the so called " policy advisors" and employed some high end business leaders to cut the size of Government which has grown to an unsuportable size in their tenancy, I have yet to see one politician make a statement on the subject, which goes a long way to explaining why the public simply don't vote as they see no possible change by any party.

The problem is that most labour and Conservative voters for that matter always vote for their party regardless of what they do, as long as they get the right soundbites out there and say things can only get better then the votes come rolling in. Besides Labour need all that tax to pay for their main voters.
