With the election today and votes been cast, I wonder will it make any real difference who gets into power with or without majority.
Is it only election time when us the people become people and our opinions counts, after today are we all set to become numbers and targets once again. In the past I have always voted conservative, not a very popular thing to say but its true, I believe in the union, think generally we are better porepared as anisland under their rule and our human rights are better protected. Now though I am not to sure if it really matters who gets in as the chances are they wont really helkp anyone except themselves and that usually means they benefit financially whilst the rest of us suffer.
With the Uk debt at massive levels and public jobs/cuts no doubt been anounced, I havent yet heard One single M.P say they will take a pay cut or pay freeze like so many of us probably will have, or even lose a few of their perks, lets face it they get more than the rest of us who put them there to govern on our behalf.
From my own personal point, been transgendered (pre-op, abuse not required I can get that in daily life) under labour I will have to shell out for two Identity cards, under conservatives I will lose some benefits working or not, under liberals, well where all going to get blasted to hell when we get rid of trident anyway lol so that sorts that out.
What are we actually voting for and when the parties say they are working for you or on behalf of you, do they mean you take the pain, we take the benefits?
