She was dire today responding to the Chancellor's announcement.

Where is the new Labour party leader- or even any sensible candidates?

She needs to accessorise! A pointed black hat and matching cloak, broomstick and black cat should provide a representative image.

Attacking the Dems, that came out of the blue... not!

Normally I shout quite reasoned rebuttals at the TV, but tonight I found myself saying, "Yeah, yeah, yeah, whatever."

Interestingly the delightful Kevin Maguire thought it was a tour de force!

I have noticed that Charlie Whelan seems a little quiet these days and campbell seems a little luke warm but then I suppose he is busy selling his book via the advertising medium of every bloody political programme on the BBC

You think you have got problems. I fancy Caroline Lucas, but every time I admit it I get very old fashioned looks!! Other than her politics, I think she is a darling.

Well, with these admissions coming thick and fast, maybe we should merge this thread with http://www.politic.co.uk/coffee-room...your-boat.html

I believe she"s related to the late Lord Longford - says it all, don"t you think? I personaly think she should be hauled back, by the scruff of her neck, with her former bosses and side kicks, and made to give an explanation to us, the public, to why this country in the state it"s in. After all, she"s not going to end up down the Job Center, or lose her home - millions probably will, collectively, owing to Labour"s policies over the last 13 years, in which she was deputy PM; 500,000 loses in the public sector alone, according to one source, saying nothing about the vunerable members of society.

Not a patch on Joanna Lumley - maybe not a politician, but certainly made a monkey out of Gordon Brown over the Gurkhas - and hell of a lot better looking

I get it, she was kind of cute. And as someone whose been trading on the whole passionate radical female thing for longer than I care to admit, long may the naivety of young men continue

What makes you think that a journalist from the Mirror has a single solitary brain cell capable of effective thought?

I prefer intelligent women and frankly the more that Harriet curls her lip and snarls out her vitriol in Parliament, the less I am interested.

What a wholesome attractive looking girl! The passing years have done her no favours.

The naivety of young men? No, no, no, we're a lot smarter than most women believe you know.... it's really just a carefully cultivated act to lure the naive young women into our net

Midas, one thing that you and I are not is naive young men! It is the wiser, more mature man, having left his naivety far behind who is able to lure the naive young woman into his net. I am definitely getting images here of Leslie Phillips and Terry Thomas, the arch cads and bounders!

I reckon I could live with that image

For a change Major Sinic, I do question your wisdom and judgement! I have just watched my recording of the aforementioned lady on Question Time last week, and I couldn't possibly tolerate such a ranting heretic at close quarters!
