Why did the Times elect to serialise his book? This man single-handed demonised politics, covered up most of the failures of the last Labour government, while setting himself up nicely for a financially secure career in the Lords!

I am sure the Times thinks they are putting the boot in to Labour but instead are glorifying this particular monster who should be consigned to obscurity. In some respects the Times has already done this by charging to view their newspaper online, so it is the rest of the media which is perpetuating the memory of this disgraceful politician.
