Jesus said in John 3:17, "For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved."
I would argue they're doing so partly to be provocative, but I think the marches are still very important to many Protestants. In any case the recent riots don't seem to be connected to the Troubles. This is not the IRA or others, this is just youths who feel disenfranchised, and so rally around old grievances to cause violence.
