What a ridiculous notion, it's neither right nor fair. Another example of how out of touch Ed Milliband is: Harriet Harman has had a miserable time trying to string a sensible sentence together in Parliament to respond to the coalition initiatives. By her ridiculous logic, should a proportion of the cabinet be unemployed? Deaf? Blind? Gay? Lesbian? Where should the line be drawn with this kind of nonsense?
Merit is the best and only way in which candidates should be selected, their gender, race, disability or lack of it, sexual orientation etc should be of no consiquence.
