| One-in-Three White People are Victims of Racism! On 12 August 2008, The Sun reported thus. Quote:
One-in-three white people in the UK believe they are victims of racism in key public services.
The number who think they face discrimination has soared by 50 per cent in eight years, a Government survey revealed last night.
New figures show 29 per cent of whites consider they will be treated worse than other races in public services such as housing, schools, GPs and the police.
The figures have rocketed since 2001, when only 20 per cent feared discrimination. Over the same period, the numbers from ethnic minorities worried about racism in public services fell from 38 per cent to 34 per cent.
The worst area is housing – a quarter of whites felt they lose out, said the poll by the Department for Communities and Local Government. One in ten expect racism in the justice system. Around six per cent of whites think they face discrimination by police. And three per cent insist they will be treated worse than other races in schools.
The survey also showed... 58 per cent of whites believed there was more racism in Britain than five years ago. But only 32 per cent of people from ethnic minorities consider there was more prejudice.
Baroness Warsi, shadow minister for community cohesion, said:
'It is no wonder more people feel there is an increase in racism when Labour is forever talking up what divides us.'
| 1 in 3 white UK residents believe they are‘racism victims’ | The Sun |News I put the following underneath the article in the Have Your Say section: Quote:
Will the "one-in-three" continue to vote for those who saw to it that they became "victims of racism", I wonder?
Will the extra "50 per cent" forget their outrage when the establishment promises them that THEY will "learn the lessons" by the time the next election rolls around?
Will the "one in ten" who "expect racism in the justice system" be voting for someone who will root out such anti-British practice and put them first in the future?
Will the "six per cent of whites" who "think they face discrimination by police" and the "three per cent" who "insist they will be treated worse than other races in schools" put their "X" against the Nationalist candidate next time round?
Did those "white people" who "thought racial prejudice was getting worse" ever sneer at Enoch Powell, as the politicians, the PC Crowd and the press instructed them to?
And do the British people think that the only reason for the increase in anti-White racism is because "Labour is forever talking up what divides us", as Baroness Warsi suggests? In February 2006, Warsi was seen in an edition of Newsnight.
She was debating the relative demerits of the mickey-taking Danish cartoons and the placards that had been paraded through the streets of London by a large group of angry Muslims as a consequence.
She didn't seem to bothered overmuch by the placard-carryiers and played down their behaviours thus: Quote: |
I think we need to engage in dialogue… I think if you saw some of the placards… I thought they were very interesting… They said 'We want to engage in debate; we want to engage in dialogue; we just don't want to be insulted'.
| The lady wasn't being entirely honest in her assessment of the placard wielders, however. The following slogan was chanted repeatedly during the protest. Quote: |
UK, You will pay, Bin Laden is on his way!
| And the placards weren't quite as inoffensive as she implied either. Indeed, they said things like: Quote: |
Behead those who insult Islam! Exterminate those who slander Islam! Kill those who insult Islam! Europe, you'll come crawling when the Mujihadeen come roaring! Europe, remember 9/11! And Europe is the cancer, Islam is the answer.
| Despite all of this, Warsi preferred to reserve most of her criticism for the cartoonists and condemned them thus: Quote: |
I AM A PRACTICING MUSLIM and I felt that those cartoons were very offensive… They, actually, attacked at the very heart of what is crucial and so sacred in the Muslim faith.
| Changing her line of attack at this point, she said: Quote: |
We will have extremists, we heard Nick Griffin (leader of the BNP) earlier, I think people like Nick Griffin, and, unfortunately, people like Abu Hamza and Omar Bakri, I say they are all the same, they're peas in one pod, they all preach hate, they all divide society.
| And, then, she added this: Quote: |
I think that the best thing for all of them would be TO STOP ABUSING OUR FLAG AND TO GET OFF OUR ISLAND! TO GET OFF OUR ISLAND!
| So, so as well as, allegedly, wanting the Muslim fanatics, Abu Hamza and Omar Bakri to "get off our island", she wanted an Englishman to "get off our island", as well!
I wonder who Warsi was talking about when she used the phrase "OUR ISLAND" twice?
She obviously wasn't talking about British Nationalists. You know, those whose ancestors are all buried here who don't vote correctly? (Politically correctly, that is) I have a feeling she may not have been talking about the "one-in-three" who saw themselves as "victims of racism" as well.
Now that New Labour is widely preceived to be a busted flush, I wonder how many of the one-in-three will be voting for a Conservative Leader who thinks it right and proper to promote a jumped-up, over-promoted, second-generation immigrant Brit-loather, like Sayeeda Hussain Warsi, to the position of Vice-Chairperson of the Conservative Party?
I wonder whether the one-in-three would be happy with the new Tories creating an entirely new Departments of State like the Department for Community Cohesion and Social Action, for a person like Baroness Sayeeda Hussain Warsi to preside over?
I have this funny feeling that the practicing-Muslim-our-island lady would be a tad more inclined to take "social action" against me, Nick Griffin, the BNP and the one-in-three, than she would be inclined to "cohere" with us.
