| Does Britain need fixing? I'm not sure of members reading habits, but an interesting report in Prospect (Oct 2008) caught my attention. Written by Ben Page, chairman of Ipsos MORI Social Research Institute who argues the case that Britain is fundamentally intact, yet parts are "severely dysfunctional". Is David Cameron right in following Iain Duncan Smith's Centre for Social Justice and claiming that Britain is a 'broken society' or is this a media construct, influencing and distorting the issue, and thus leading us to believe the problems are worse than they are? So, this said I would like to open a debate; is Britain a broken society?
